GET PRO LEVEL MIXES USING AUBREY'S OWN MIXING TEMPLATE IN ABLETON LIVE
 
I have carefully replicated my own mixing template (I use Logic Pro) into Ableton so Ableton users can now use the same settings, plugins and arrangement that I have used myself on countless mixes. Including platinum and gold selling records, and tonnes of tracks placed in TV shows and films. 
 
This product contains 2 Ableton Live Mixing Templates:
1. An Ableton Mix Template using only Ableton's built-in (stock) plugins so you can fully use the template without needing any external plugins. Simply import your audio and your mix is partially mixed for you!
 
2. A faithful replication of my full mixing template using my full range of selected 3rd party plugins, including Fabfilter, Universal Audio, Soundtoys and more (see below for the full list of plugins used in this second template)
 
What else is included in this mix template:
 - Pre-loaded effect chains on every instrument and vocal channel, such as EQ, compression, saturation and reverb. All based on my very own starter settings for professional level mixes;
 
- Instrument groups such as the drums, guitars and backing vocals all routed to their very own mix bus with bus processing to help 'glue' together instrument groups and create a coherent and together sounding mix
 
- Parallel Compression all set up and ready to activate on every instrument channel for a punchier, fatter and thicker sound
 
- 3 reverbs and 1 delay bus set-up and ready to feed in to each instrument or bus via the sends
 
- Gain Staging embodied into the entire mix template with each channel track set to -12dB to allow for optimial headroom when mixing
 
- Full mastering chain loaded on the master channel for commercially clean and loud masters, with optimisation for streaming platforms
 
The two templates are audio only templates. This means you would need to convert your midi instruments to audio to mix within this template. The template has been designed this way because shifting from a producing mindset to a mixing mindset is challenging. By using these templates for mixing only, you are commiting yourself to a finished track and ensuring you are fully focussed on just the mixing.
 
Here is a full list of 3rd party plugins used in the 2nd template. You will need these plugins installed for them to work in your DAW. If you don't own the plugin, you won't be able to load that plugin. You can post-install the plugins and they will work as normal, or you can swap it out for a stock plugin or an alternative 3rd party plugin of your choice.
